Course Scheduling System
The Course Scheduling System (CSS) is a web-based application for updating course offerings and information.
Access to the system can be obtained by submitting the Course Scheduling Access Request Form via the Academic Scheduling Online Portal. Approval is dependent on having a valid NetID and the appropriate authorizing signatures. Once your request has been approved and completed, please contact our office to schedule a training. Access to the system will allow you to view and request changes to course offerings.
The Master Course List used by CSS is a searchable list of all available courses at Rutgers. This page can be viewed without requesting access to CSS. To propose making a change to an existing course (number of credits, title, course number) or to add a new course to the MCL, a Master Course List Change Form must be submitted. Once a course has been added to the Master Course List, the school/department should contact Academic Scheduling with the appropriate Grade Code Options (PDF included below) for the course that was added by emailing schednwk@newark.rutgers.edu. Please contact the RU-N Registrar’s Office with any inquiries regarding Grade Code Options by emailing registrar@newark.rutgers.edu.
